Gone Retro
All things vintage
I do have a distinct leaning toward the blues and I have a really soft spot for 50s styling. That whole midcentury thing, who needs a bridal car when a vintage Vespa will do? That tea dress length, acres of tulle and pointed low heeled bow shoes, who says the bride has to wear white? A fascinator with veil and cats eyeliner is perfect for this look, Keep florals simple and in keeping, oops I’m going with daisies again because weddings of the day were about simpler times when pennies were tight so seasonal michealmas daisies would definitely fit the bill. Square cakes were more the shape of the time and although favours weren’t really introduced if you did want to have them then a pretty package wrapped in paper with string would look lovely on the tables. All the boys had shiny shoes and trousers were cut short and naturally there has to be obligatory vintage cases which can be used for anything from reception table displays to desert tables.
The 78rpm record/s used as a guest book is inspired and would make a great reminder framed for the bride and groom after.
