The Pop-Up Artisan Market is a whole new venture. An online space for creative businesses based here in the Costa Brava to promote and sell their work to a wider audience. Particularly during these difficult times when the usual places like Arts and Crafts Markets and Events are cancelled and people who would normally buy their unique and original pieces for themselves, their friends and their families from independent traders have few means of seeking them out. Its been running since November last year and we are gradually building a following and adding to our traders all the time. Do get in touch if you think this is for you!

These boots are made for walking…

…and that’s just what they’ll do and one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you…

Last time I was out shopping in Leeds all the new season boots were just coming into stock and I was fascinated by the whole 60’s vibe going on with those chunky heels. Love them but not sure I can do heels anymore, even chunky ones, I think my centre of gravity has changed ha ha ha!

The lovely tan shiny, shiny ones above are leather so a nice bit of give, have a gorgeous square toe and are all yours from Top Shop. I’ve paired them up with a linen dress which I’d top with a long length black cardi (am all into my cardis this year), a neat soft fabric bag, some faux tortoiseshell earrings, a scarf that picks out all the colours and shades to pull it all together and finish with butter on my fingertips.

PS The scarf is a Fendi but definitely worth some charity shop finds for retro scarves at bargain prices.
