All Change

It’s been a while since I had the time to update on here January and February have passed in a blur as I’ve been concentrating on getting things done in the house.

What’s new you might well ask? The first is we have said goodbye to our old and very knackered leather sofa and took delivery of a very smart new one. Gone is the old pouffe cushion to be replaced by a sofa with a double ended recliner, automatic no less! Plus as it’s all plugged in has a usb point at both sides so we can keep our phones and tablets charge while we laze around. Going to end up right old couch potatoes if we are not careful.

Alongside two new side tables its looking very neat and tidy!

What is amusing is our trio of cats reaction, they are all quite nervous when the sofa seems to start moving of its own volition. The new rug is also a bone of contention with one of our furries. Tigi is not impressed she keeps walking round the outside edge to get out the patio doors. Tinker on the other hand is luxuriating, rolls around on his back and squeaks, this is new he has never squeaked before! The rug is made up of pieces of hide unstripped stitched on to a backing. It must be like a cat massage or something.

In other news I’ve been making changes to our downstairs space, installing fitted storage under the stairs with some great ideas pinched from Pinterest, plus at last got started on the utility room, more on all of that tomorrow.
