Warm days cosy nights
When I got up this morning Girona had disappeared! We were literally in the clouds, I would have taken a picture but it would have just been whiteout. The sun is beginning to burn it off now but it put me in mind of the coming autumn days, digging out the vintage crockery, warm stews and mugs of chocolate, woolly socks and jumpers.
One of my favourites featured on today’s blog are the wonderful and whimsical ceramics of Elizabeth Price, here taking a stand or seat as bookends, they are just so studied and remind me of being a kid at my Grans. I can find no direct link to Elizabeth’s works for sale but a number of galleries sell her creations. Just google her name and you will find a selection of outlets.
I have also sneaked a recipe in here, Beef Casserole with Potato and Leek Mash, its from an Australian site so even they get cold weather!
All the sources for the above: Elizabeth Price spotlight on the artist, harvest, vintage wood board, vintage tea cup, toasty fire, recipe, logs, woolly cardigans, Elizabeth Price
