Tick Tock
Nothing is more satisfying than taking something that has seen better days and its function is long past it’s sell by date and transforming it into something new.
This vintage alarm clock had definitely lost it’s tick and the spring inside was quite frankly sprung but it was begging not to be put on the scrap heap. Instead I took scrap from free downloads from the Graphics Fairy , PVA’d (glued with PVA) on to card stock, cut out and then PVA’d to the clock to create a diorama with a difference.
If you are a newbie to crafting PVA is the wonder stuff. Over the pond they call it mod podge but watered down and applied liberally it acts as a glue and dries clear so can be used like a varnish.
It sold in a flash and I hope it sits proudly on a mantlepiece or shelf looking pretty long after it’s tick tock has gone.
