Pinterest World

I bought a kettle. I saw something similar on Pinterest and when I came across it in L’Esclat well I had to have it. Didn’t matter that it was three times the price of a regular kettle or that my regular kettle is in fine fettle. This is what Pinterest does to me. It is no surprise that I am a Pinterest fan, so many ideas, so many inspirations. Like many people I have a Real World and a Pinterest World. In my Pinterest World my house is perfectly styled and decorated, in my Real World there are projects yet to be started inspired by the Pinterest World. Is this you? Occasionally my Pinterest World and Real World collide hence the kettle.

On my list of things to do are, paint the living room this shade of blue

I also need to get on with painting the wardrobes and decorating the middle bedroom, I have all the materials as I already made over the guest room last year.

On top of that there is quite a lot of outdoor work to do to. Really need to stain the decking and pergola and add shade cover. This is my current like but then last year I was more for a canvas effect, I may yet change my mind. 

I also need to scrub down and paint the garden walls and paint all the metalwork but at least that is a job for when the weather is warmer.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I am more productive with my little creative projects in the winter months, decorating in the spring months and outdoor work in the summer. I promise to get these projects done this year! I will definitely be …….
