Big week coming up!

The new Facebook Page for The Pop-Up Artisan Market has launched and I have six lovely artisans all based across the Costa Brava who have joined. They all have very different products and styles and everyone is really excited to see where this venture takes us. There are a couple more people hopefully coming on board this week.

Next weekend is our first online event, a Christmas Fair and I have spent the last two weeks online networking and making new connections with other groups across the region to promote our new venture.

The page has shown some great results in a very short time and am hitting over and above the targets I set myself so that makes all the hard work worthwhile. Hopefully this event will bring us more exposure and gain more followers, potential customers and new artisans.

It has been a tough year for small businesses and sole traders, particularly in the arts, with most of our outlets like Fairs and Markets closed for nearly nine months now. The Costa Brava relies heavily on tourism and tourists are our bread and butter but change brings new challenges and I think we are all learning how to engage with our customers in a different way and customers are also finding the confidence to buy online from trusted sources.
