Christmas Table Decorations
Candles are a lovely way to add a soft glow to a Christmas table and these two designs are right on trend to use as a row of festive cheer down the centre of your table.
These are recycled mini milk bottles that came filled with chocolate A plain white candle fixed firmly with melted wax and tied with Christmas finery for a rustic look.
A more glamorous effect is achieved with these silver plate chalices, picked up at a car boot and decorated with faux pearls threaded on to silver wire wrapped around chunky white church candles. The greenery I used here is olive leaves off our tree which can be discarded when it fades away and left as they are or replaced with other greenery.
I think they both look splendid either alone on a mantle or as a row down the centre of a table but do remember that candles should never be left unattended and watch for the flame getting close to flammable materials.
