Brocanters

Brocanter markets are the norm in Spain and France, where you can by anything from rusty old farm equipment to second hand coffee machines. You can also pick up genuine antiques, vintage and collectables.

My first foray into selling was way back in 2012 when I sold upcycled  vintage style items

and genuine vintage that I bought at car boots and charity shops in the UK, a little bit of England in Girona.

Over the next four years I got up religiously at silly o’clock to be on site by 7am and set up by 8am. Come rain or shine me in my little Lupo stuffed to the gills with English china and houseware tootled along put up my pop up gazebo and hawked my wares like a pro. Here are just some of the lovely pieces that passed from me to discerning buyers in Celra, Verges and Corca on the Costa Brava.
