Branding your products and services

Some of you may know that in a previous incarnation, before I retired, I ran my own business and training company specialising in employment, business and marketing. I do like to keep my hand in and since coming here have helped a number of people running small enterprises with branding design, online and real world marketing and using social media to promote themselves. These are just some of the brand images I have designed in collaboration with the small business owners.

During the pandemic I set up an online virtual marketplace for local artisans who as sole traders had no outlet for their products, The Pop-Up Artisan Market, and we enjoyed a couple of years promoting ourselves on there whilst everyone was confined to barracks so to speak! Although we have had forays as a group to one off events today I have made the decision to close up shop because we are all now back in the real world and although still selling online individually the need for a virtual market has wained. We made some lovely friends along the way and gained new customers who continue to buy and spread the word about the wealth of talent in the region. It did spur me though to go back to my roots and add Digital Design Services to my portfolio.

I am currently working with a new client developing their website, social media presence and branding which is really exciting. I can’t share yet as they are still working on their new product and services range but I will invite you all to their online launch as soon as they are ready to go!
