It has been a full six months since I posted on the blog. So much has happened over this last year, we bought a new (to us) house, we sold our Girona house, we renovated (still doing it) our new house and we moved in last August. Spent the last few months settling in and continuing with the renovations, mostly outside but the actual interior snagging wasn’t completed until the week before Christmas! Got my Christmas tree up 

and decorated the new fireplace before settling down with a roaring log fire. That took me a few goes but three weeks in am a master at lighting top down and keeping it going

On the run up to Christmas I got myself off to market and met some lovely people who bought my wares for gifts and edibles

I made christmas pickles of picallili, spiced pear and very berry and baked up a storm with lemon drizzle and date and walnut tray bakes and small Christmas cakes perfect for one or two or more. Pretty much sold out of everything which was a bonus as it was our first outing with mainly bakes and crafts. Definitely going to give that a go in 2025

now we are into the new year got out a bit of woolly stash to do a bit of crochet not quite sure what its going to be yet just loved the colours

and pleased to say the cats have settled in nicely Tigi likes to hang around the living room where its toasty

tree and decorations come down tomorrow and the builders are back on Monday so stay tuned and I promise to be posting our continued renovations this year.
