The Pop-Up Artisan Market is a whole new venture. An online space for creative businesses based here in the Costa Brava to promote and sell their work to a wider audience. Particularly during these difficult times when the usual places like Arts and Crafts Markets and Events are cancelled and people who would normally buy their unique and original pieces for themselves, their friends and their families from independent traders have few means of seeking them out. Its been running since November last year and we are gradually building a following and adding to our traders all the time. Do get in touch if you think this is for you!

Woollie Weather

Have rediscovered knitting during my downtime and bought myself some new bamboo needles, very tactile, and some thick chunky wool. So far have not been massively adventurous and am just making an infinity scarf but now am getting right into the swing of it thought I might tackle a chunky knit jumper to put over my voluminous dresses that I favour. To give you an idea of the combo I pulled together these little beauties from Pinterest.

The jumper is an Etsy pattern from Jessiealsoknits and which I shall be purchasing forthwith, it looks fairly straightforward and has enough different stitches and colours to keep me interested, I do have a low boredom threshold with knitting if it’s a bit samey. I also need it to be speedy, am a chrochet gal which grows at a rate of knots and I can double, triple and half like a speed demon. Hence the chunky wool. I also like stuff that is oversized and chunky, probably because I am and it suits me.
